        Easy to work with

I called endurance for a quote there was a little confusion at first but one of the managers (Ed) called me back explained everything and got me great coverage at a very affordable price. I couldn't be happier with the company or their service! Thanks

        Very happy with the service

I am very happy with the service I received today from representatives in customer service and endurance claims. My car broke down last night and I had to get it towed to the nearest repair shop. I contacted customer service and *** was very nice and walked me through the claim process before transferring me to claims. Claims already talked to the mechanic and said that the claim will be approved, I'm so happy. I just have to pay my deductible of $100. Thank you so much for the great service Endurance!

        Expert Review

        best-rated-number-one-winner

Endurance has been in business since 2006 when it was founded by Paul Chernawsky and Jordan Batt. The company specializes in vehicle service contracts, better known to the public as extended car warranties that car dealerships often offer to the consumers. In 2009, Endurance was certified as a member of the VPA (Vehicle Protection Agency).

Endurance is a national company that promotes the self regulating of the sale of vehicle service contracts directly to the consumer. However, since the VPA’s Standard of Conduct does not allow any and all companies that sell vehicle service contracts directly to the consumer to use the term “warranty” in the company name, Endurance complied by creating a DBA in the name of Endurance Vehicle Protection. 2012 marked the beginning of Endurance Vehicle Protection becoming independent service contract administers. Since this is not widely done, it makes Endurance stand out from similar companies and competitors. The company is with the from the beginning of the quote through the actual administration of the contracts which develops a level of mutual trust and consistency through real relationships. Instead of middlemen or a 3rd party being used to handle the service contracts and anything that arises concerning them, Endurance is right there, familiar with the process and ready to help out the consumers who need them.

        Coverage

The company is based out of Northbrook, Illinois and has an A+ rating with the BBB, where they are an accredited member. They are one of only 10 companies in the US that have earned a gold certification by the VPA. Their accomplishments have continued through 2013 when they ranked in the top five at the LeadsCon trade show in Las Vegas, NV with an impressive response time of 32 seconds. In 2014 Endurance Vehicle Protection was awarded the Gold Stevie Award for its category and also was nominated for Customer Service Department of the Year- Advertising, Marketing and PR, Business Services or Diversified Services at the 2014 Stevie Awards.

Many are familiar with the company since TV and media personality Courtney Hansen was enlisted as the spokesperson of Endurance’s national direct-to-consumer marketing campaign as of 2011. Hansen, known as a TV auto expert, is consistently featured in Endurance’s nationally broadcast commercials and online ads.

Endurance Warranty Services is known for offering primarily 3 different plan options for customers to choose from; Secure, Superior and Supreme. All three of these coverage plans are accepted at your own car dealership or by 350,000 certified mechanics/repair shops in the United States and Canada.

The Secure plan is Endurance’s most affordable coverage plan and covers the most important parts of your vehicle that would potentially be in need of repair. These parts are generally known to be the most expensive to repair so having coverage helps reduce the amount customers would have to pay out of pocket. The Secure Plan includes:
        – Drive Axle
        – Engine Components
        – Seals and Gaskets (only covered if part of the repair of the other covered components in this plan. Minor fluid loss or seeping is not covered as it is not considered serious)
        – Transfer Unit
        – Transmission Components
        – Turbo Charger/ Supercharger
        – Rental Car Benefits
        – 24/7 Roadside Assistance

There is additional Add-On coverage options that you can choose to add to your Secure Protection Plan. Be sure to talk to your agent for all of the specifics concerning these add-ons so you know exactly what is covered and what isn’t. These choices for add on include:

        – Commercial Use Option – if your vehicle is used for commercial purposes of any kind
        – Tire Modification/Body or Suspension Lift Option
        – Hybrid Vehicle Option

        endurance-secure-coverage

Endurance’s Superior Protection Plan offers the highest level of component coverage a customer could get without getting full bumper to bumper coverage. Over hundreds of automobile components are protected under this, making is a “peace of mind” plan of sorts. The Superior Protection Plan includes ALL of what is covered under the Secure Plan PLUS:

        – Air Conditioner
        – Brakes
        – Cooling System
        – Electrical
        – Front and Rear Suspension
        – Fuel System
        – Seals and Gaskets – (only covered if part of the repair of the other covered components in this plan. Minor fluid loss or seeping is not covered as it is not considered serious)
        – Steering
        – Rental Car Benefits

The Add on coverage options for the Superior plan are the same as for the Secure Plan but with a “High Tech Option”

Some of customers may be looking for most peace of mind possible from an extended car warranty, and the Supreme Protection Plan is going to give it to them as it is very similar to the factory warranty a vehicle may have or have had and which are often called “Bumper to Bumper” warranties. Even though the big systems and components covered are listed below, the individual parts covered are actually so numerous; it’s simpler for the company to list what they DON’T cover. An agent of Endurance is trained to go over the exclusions with customers at the time they are setting up their contract and coverage. Also, Endurance has a plan that is designed to offer the maximum protection for all of a customer’s vehicle’s parts. The Supreme Plan includes all of the coverage from the Secure and Superior Protection Plans:

        – Air Conditioner
        – Brakes
        – Cooling System
        – Drive Axle Assembly
        – Electrical Components
        – Engine
        – Front and Rear Suspension
        – Fuel System
        – Seals and Gaskets (only covered if part of the repair of the other covered components in this plan. Minor fluid loss or seeping is not covered as it is not considered serious)
        – Steering
        – Transfer Unit
        – Transmission Components
        – Turbo Charger/Supercharger
        – 24/7 Roadside Assistance
        – Rental Car benefits
        – Exclusionary Coverage

All of these plans guarantee Endurance’s 24/7 Roadside Assistance, which is a huge benefit for customers. Roadside Assistance is valuable to customers since there is no way to know for certain when one might be stuck on the side of the road in a broken down car. 24/7 roadside assistance will cover at least ONE of the services listed below per every 72 hour period.

        • Mechanical first aid – any service that requires an adjustment, not including the parts, to get the car running again under its own power.
        • Tire Service – changing a flat tire with your own spare
        • Battery Service – using a booster battery to attempt to get your vehicle started again
        • Gas/Fluid Delivery – will deliver needed fuel or fluid (cost of fuel/fluid NOT included and must be paid for)
        • Towing Service – 25 mile or less tow is covered completely
        • Lockout Service – if you lock your keys inside the car, a locksmith will be dispatched to assist
        • Trip interruption reimbursement

        Customer Service

roadside-assistanceAside from the 24/7 roadside assistance, Endurance Warranty Services also offers two ways to get a claim filed. One of the options is for those who already have a regular mechanic who works on their vehicles. Beyond making the mechanic/repair shop is ASE certified, when a customer has their vehicle looked at when a potential mechanical problem arises, they would simply hand them their Endurance card and from then on they will diagnose the problem and call an Endurance Services agent to discuss it with them PRIOR to doing ANY work on the vehicle. The other option is to just give Endurance a call at 1-866-432-4443 and talk to one of the helpful customer care representatives who will find an ASE certified mechanic in the customer’s area to set up an appointment take care of the payment process as well. All three of the protection plans offered at Endurance Warranty Services are accepted at ASE certified repair shop or at 350,000 of the certified mechanics/repair shops across the United States and Canada. All options to file a claim are easy to do and involves no hassle on part of the customers, which are all primary goals for Endurance.

customer-serviceSince customer service is top priority for Endurance, they commit themselves to providing customers protection not only from high cost, but also the stress that car repairs can cause. They can be with customers every step of the process because they administer their own plans. In addition, they are the ONLY vehicle protection company that is a gold-certified member of the Vehicle Protection Association as well as A+ rated by the BBB.

questions-live-chatWhen customers need help or support services from Endurance they are only an email, live chat or phone call away. The Customer Service Representatives will do everything in their power to help their customers with any of their questions and/or problems. In addition, Endurance gives a 30-day, money-back guarantee when you sign up, and as long as you do not make any claims during that time, you will be eligible for a full refund.

All of these are benefits for Endurance customers. Like many similar companies it all begins with a potential customer requesting a quote. There is no obligation to buy anything but customers are given the opportunity to speak to an Endurance Agent and figure out what they’re looking for and compare it to what they offer. Prospective customers will be asked what they are looking for in terms of length of warranty and how much driving they do which will all help Endurance to put together a good package that will meet the needs of a customer’s budget. There is no way to give out a one price fits all amount since there are many factors that are taken into consideration when an agent puts together a quote such as: vehicle age, mileage how often the vehicle is driven each month etc. By combining these factors with the coverage a customer wants along with the amount of the deductible they wish to pay the agent will come up with a final quote. The final quote will encompass everything a customer is looking for and take into account their lifestyle as well and they will work to create a payment plan tailored to that customer. For instance, a customer can choose to have a $100, $50 or even $0 deductible. The extended warranty is transferrable, so if a customer ends up selling their vehicle with time left on the contract, it carries over to the new owner so the vehicle continues to be protected.
